The Villages

There are many villages around the island and ruins of houses, villas and churches.  A lot are hidden away however there are brown signs to some of the more important sites.  The tourist excursions will take in the village of Volimes where you can buy honey, raisins, lace and other craft items.  Don't forget to haggle over the price. There are tours to the mountain villages of Giri and Louha, but how about hiring a car and discovering them for yourself.
